Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra names Oswald the winner of the 2022 Classical Evolve competition

Oswald was selected as the winner of the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2022 Classical Evolve Composer Competition and will be the IPO’s Composer-in-Residence for the 2023/24 season. As Composer-in-Residence, he will be commissioned to write three new orchestral works for the IPO and will spend time working with the ensemble in Chicago.
