Musiqa names Oswald the recipient of their 2022 Emerging Composer Commission

The Houston-based new music group, Musiqa, has selected Oswald as the winner of their 2022 Emerging Composer Commission. He will receive a commission to write a new piece for Musiqa’s 2023/24 season and will travel to Houston, TX to work with the ensemble. The judges for this year competition were Karim Al-Zand, Anthony Brandt, Pierre Jalbert, and Marcus Karl Maroney.
