“Aubade with Ashen Clouds, Scarlet Sky” wins the Black Bayou Composition Award

After spending the past few days at the New Music on the Bayou Festival, Oswald was selected as the winner of the Black Bayou Composition Award for his piece for bass clarinet, Aubade with Ashen Clouds, Scarlet Sky. Originally premiered by Yoshiaki Onishi for Oswald’s commission from the Sheldon Concert Hall, Aubade received its second performance by Trevor Davis on the second day of the festival in Monroe, LA.
