Oswald makes his NYC debut with the American Composers Orchestra

Oswald’s orchestral work Gia Đình was selected for 2023 American Composers Orchestra EarShot Readings in New York. His piece was one of six selected pieces from nearly 400 submissions. This will be Oswald’s NYC debut. There will be a public rehearsal the morning of June 1, 2023, and then public readings in a concert format on the following night on June 2, 2023 at the Mannes School of Music’s Tishman Auditorium.

The other five composers selected were Younje Cho, Henry Dorn, Brittany J. Green, Amy Nam, and Daniel Reza Sabzghabaei. All composers will receive additional mentorship from Derek Bermel, Mary Kouyoumdjian and Daniel Bernard Roumain.
